Child Development and Care
This qualification will expire on 31/12/2022 and this is the last date NCFE can accept learner registrations. The last date for certificate claims is 31/12/2024. This qualification will be replaced by the NCFE Level 1/2 Technical Award in Child Development and Care in the Early Years (603/7012/9) from September 2022.
Learners will work across three Units covering a range of child development topics – including childcare settings, patterns of holistic development, care routines and transitions.

- Assessment: two externally set, internally marked assessment tasks, one synoptic external assessment
